Green Tara giclee print

Green Tara symbolizes compassion, action and protection. She is the Mother of all Buddhas, the liberator.According to legend, Avalokiteshvara, the Bodhisattva of Compassion, looked at the suffering of beings in the world and wept in grief. From her tears, Tara was born, who actively responds to the cries of the suffering and frees them from fear and hardship. She is depicted in a pose that symbolizes readiness for action, with one leg extended and the other retracted, ready to spring into action when needed.
